  31. Build the water surface so it is a multi-faceted square, just inside the inner part of 
  32. the glass. Apply a b/w clip map of a full black circle on a white background to the 
  33. water.

  35. The circle must accurately touch the border of the clip map. Apply it planarly and 
  36. turn on 'World Coordinates'.

  38. Unless you move the water (alone or as part of the glass hierarchy) you can apply any 
  39. displacement mapping to it and it would fit perfectly in the glass.
